Key Responsibilities
- Lead project delivery from site feasibility and concept development through entitlement, permitting, and construction support.
- Prepare and develop complete permitting and construction documentation, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and local consulting teams to address site-specific requirements and project needs.
- Manage relationships with planning and building departments to secure approvals and maintain project schedules.
- Provide construction-phase support through RFIs, submittal reviews, field issue resolution, and continuous product improvement feedback.
Skills and Experience
- 6-10+ years of professional architectural experience, with a proven track record of delivering projects through permitting and construction.
- Strong expertise in site planning, zoning analysis, building codes, and regulatory compliance, including IBC and IRC knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively with local jurisdictions, consultants, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation software, including Revit and visualization tools such as Enscape.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills; experience with prefabricated, modular, or panelized construction is a plus.
